Help Make Shoes That Fit A Success!

How quickly 2012 has passed, and here we are approaching the holiday season. As you are doing your holiday shopping, please consider giving the gift of a new hat, coat or a new pair of shoes to Shoes That Fit 2012.

“Shoes That Fit” is a national non-profit organization helping children in need by providing new shoes and clothes so they can attend school in comfort and with dignity. Research has shown that families are better able to help their children in school when they are not living from crisis to crisis and their basic needs are met.

For the eleventh year, First National Bank has partnered with Mediacom to bring the Shoes That Fit campaign to Ames. This program is a success through the generosity of the community to fill those students’ needs. First National Bank is excited about supporting this community project as there are many students in need of these basic items.  First National Bank is happy to play a vital role in making the project successful!

Want to get involved?

If you would like to make a donation, you can stop by any of our Ames locations to pick up a needs card. Once you have fulfilled the requested item, return it to any First National Bank location.

Don’t have the time to pick something up but still would like to participate? You can make a monetary donation, and we will do the shopping for you! Checks should be made payable to “Shoes That Fit.”
